Douglas Ray

President

Douglas Ray is the President of Seavest Healthcare Properties. Mr. Ray joined Seavest in 1995 and manages a real estate portfolio with an asset value in excess of $500 million. In this capacity, Mr. Ray is responsible for supervising all real estate and private investments, including negotiating major transactions, overseeing the investment due diligence process, providing analysis and structuring equity and debt investments for Seavest and their clients.

Mr. Ray serves on the Boards of Directors of Fifth Street Finance Corp., a public investment management company in White Plains, NY and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization. Prior to joining Seavest, Mr. Ray was employed in Washington, D.C. on the staff of U.S. Senator Arlen Specter and as a research analyst with the Republican National Committee. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
